News - Includes recent news posts relating to Google Inc. the major
Internet, search engine, and technology company based in the United States

- Google Breaks $500 a Share - What can you say about Google, it just keeps pushing forward and increasing in value. The companys share price has risen above US$500 and you have to wonder how much higher it can go.
- Google Trumps Yahoo Again - Google has payed $1.65 billion for YouTube.com the largest user contributed video website on the net. This increases Google's dominance over Yahoo even further in the race to take over the world.
- Windows Live Search - There's now a new competitor for Google to contend with and it's called Windows Live Search and is Microsoft's attempt to crack into the internet search business.
- Google
and eBay Partnership - Google has partnered with eBay to supply
text based advertising on eBay's international websites while Yahoo
supplies adverts for the US website.

Ever Expanding - Google is expanding once again, this time moving
to Ann Arbor, Michigan to build a research facility.

is a Word - Merriam-Webster has officially made the word google
a verb, bringing it out of the realms of tech slang. Other new words
added included supersize, biodiesel, agritourism, mouse potato, ringtone
and spyware.

Checkout - In a long line of products Google have released their
latest called Google Checkout which promises one place to buy from stores
all over the web.

Finance Struggle - With the recent release of Google Finance, there
have been reports that it has been struggling to compete with already
established finance portals like Yahoo Finance. Although users have
praised the simple interface of Google Finance, they have not yet offered
compelling enough financial tools or resources to make users change
to Google.

vs Google vs Yahoo - Microsoft must be a bit worried about it's
future when it come to it's internet business as they have tried to
buyout Yahoo's search engine in a bid to catch up to the ever growing
Google.

Cage Free Hens - As Google grows and continues to earn billions
in profits each year, it affecting more than just the the internet and
technology industry. With a work force of more than 6000 it also eats
a lot of food, including more than 300,000 eggs and 7000 pounds of liquid
egg products.

worth $109 Billion? - The Motley Fool's Stephen Ellis has published
an article on the value of Google and whether it is worth the price
that investors are currently paying for it. He doesn't argue that Google
is not a great company, he encourages readers to think about some of
the problems that the company may face in the future.

share price by about 7%. The move should help with establishing itself
as a serious corporation, rather an Internet company that has just got
lucky.

with Wall Street, with its stock price moving higher week after week.
Investors that got in on the ground floor were happy to see GOOG reach
a high of $475 per share in just a couple short years, but more recently
the stock has taken a pounding.
