The Gates Foundation Donates 3.1 Million
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation started by Microsofts Bill Gates and his wife have donated $3.1 million to Pro Mujer, a microfinance network in Latin America which combines financial services and healthcare for the poorest women entrepreneurs.
This money will go a long way to helping women start their own small business to improve their families lives considering the average loan size Pro Mujer lends is only $164. The money will also help Pro Mujer expand it's network further into other poor countries.
